SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, this position assembles and installs mechanical and electrical components, and ensures proper function, following our standard quality control procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, assembles the less complex machines and or sub-assemblies.
- Read mechanical blueprints and assemble all components to engineering specifications.
- Delivers assemblies on-time according to the specifications given by the production supervisor.
- Checks own work to ensure the quality of all assemblies produced.
- Informs the production supervisor of any delays or issues with manufacturing any part.
- Provides alternative solutions should any delays or issues that arise.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Stores parts/tools in an organized and safe manner.
- Follows all safety procedures and policies.
- Cross-trains on other production duties as requested by the production supervisor
- Arrives to work on time and adheres to schedule
- May perform other duties as requested
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- One year certificate from college or technical school, or a combination of education and experience
- Ability to learn technical aspects of the business
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in the English language
- Ability to speak communicate effectively using the English language
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
