Our Recruitment Process for Experienced Professionals


INITIAL CONTACT

1Look for our openings and apply. You will need to create a profile and attach a resume to your application. From application to start date, the timing of our employment process is dependent on numerous variables. Because the timing can be unpredictable, you should let our Human Resources specialist know about any factors affecting your availability. You will be notified as to the status of your consideration for a position, even if that position has been filled by another candidate.


APPLICATION REVIEW

2Our Human Resources and our managers will review your qualifications. If there is a good fit, then we’ll contact you. PHONE INTERVIEW

3A department manager will schedule a phone interview with you to further discuss your application and your interest in AIM. This is a good opportunity for you to ask questions about the position and the company. A designated Human Resources specialist who reviews the qualifications of all candidates seeking consideration for a position makes an initial determination on potential fit. This person may also contact you to gather additional information, such as relevant experience and qualifications, availability for interviews, interest in relocation, compensation expectations, etc.Based upon this initial assessment, the Human Resources specialist will discuss their recommendations with the hiring manager. The hiring manager will select the candidates who will be interviewed in person.


INTERVIEW @ AIM

4When you arrive for your interview, a Human Resources specialist (or local representative) will greet you, discuss your application, explain the schedule for your visit and answer any questions. Depending on the position of interest, you can expect to have two to four individual meetings with AIM professionals. You will have the chance to share your detailed qualifications and learn more about AIM and the work we do. If necessary, we may ask a candidate back for additional interviews before making a final decision.Based upon this initial assessment, the Human Resources specialist will discuss their recommendations with the hiring manager. The hiring manager will select the candidates who will be interviewed in person. A tour at AIM and a history brief will assure you that AIM is The place to work!


OFFER & REFERENCES

5Before our final decisions, we will contact your references to ensure that your skills and personality match the position. If you are not selected for a position after your interview, you will be notified by our team. If you’re selected for the position, a recruiter or hiring manager will convey a contingent offer of employment. The offer package will include starting salary and a summary of benefits. Normally, we expect your decision within two weeks.


PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING

6Typically, screening includes education and employment verification, a criminal background check, social security verification, employment history, references, educational qualifications and a drug test. This process typically takes three to five working days.
