Enhancing your
manufacturing efficiencies and maximizing your throughput.
Here at AIM Inc., that’s what we’re all about.
We know that if we can provide solutions to your wire forming
needs and increase your profit margins while keeping you
competitive in today’s ever-changing marketplace, then we have
succeeded.
By constantly being innovative and responsive to the changing
demands of the wire forming industry, our focus is to stay one
step ahead of the competition. We understand the obstacles that
today’s wire formers face and are very aware of the trends. New
product development is at an all time high here at AIM in order
to provide the products you need.
Our newest modular 3D machine is faster than ever and is
extremely reliable. Our new 3D Double Headed Bender has opened
a whole new world of possibilities for forming larger 3D parts
fast and of consistently high quality. The new table top bender
was introduced at the Interwire show and drew rave responses.
It will soon be a standard offering and a potential must-have
product for anybody who bends wire.
And we don’t stop there… Secondary operations need to be
incorporated into a work cell whenever and wherever possible.
We are doing it with welding, chamfering, in-line die systems,
drilling, cold heading and threading modules; and as an
integrator of Fanuc Robotics, we can move your product to other
external processes quickly, precisely and automatically.
Our goal at Automated Industrial Machinery is to continually
take the cost of labor out of your profit equation. Let us help
you decide if you are ready to take your manufacturing processes
to the next level. We are ready and eager to help you be open
minded to the possibilities and reach higher for success in your
endeavors. At AIM… we are
“forming our future with yours”

• The increasing trend throughout
plants to provide Internet/Network
connections has allowed AIM to improve
on its world class support.
Internet/Network Connections to AIM
machines provide 2 major benefits:
1. When the machine is connected to a business
network, customers can utilize AIM’s
automatic backup routine to its full
benefit. SmartEditor can then be
configured to take a new backup and
place it somewhere else on the
network. It eliminates the issue of
“remembering” to backup the machine.
This ensures the machine data will be
available and current for other
employees to reference as well as
providing an insurance policy against
computer troubles.

2. Internet/Network connections have also
reduced troubleshooting and down time
on machines drastically. Connect your
machines to the internet and call AIM’s support staff to receive
immediate help diagnosing a problem or
answering a question about the
machine. AIM’s technician will be able
to provide a live window into machine
operation remotely in seconds. Our experience
will help your operators return to
making product faster than ever.
• AIM’s open architecture pays off in many ways.
o Did you know you
can use any computer with Windows
XP/2000 to run your machine as long as
it has a serial and USB port? This is
surprising to many of our customers.
Many customers have setup their
laptops to run their machines as a
backup and an added insurance policy.
o AIM's machine flexibility
lends to in field upgrades, such as
the various options available with the
AFM or modular style machines. But
even the AFE or economy line machines
have the ability for certain types of
upgrades if pre-ordered. Please review
your machine automation needs with a
trained AIM professional.

AIM Around The World

Interwire was a big trade show for AIM. Representatives
from fifty countries around the world gathered in Cleveland,
Ohio this past May for one of the largest and longest running
wire and cable shows in the world.

AIM was one of the 500 exhibiting companies at the show
and had a very busy booth. Show attendance was up
15% from last year and Cleveland turned out to be a
great host city.

On display were two robotic work cells featuring the
AFM-3D8TU and the AFM-3DH8 double head bender tended by
Fanuc Robots. The AFE-2D6 with AWE8i butt welder
and AFT-3D12 table top bender were also displayed.
|
This was the debut for the table top bender and it
proved a big hit. Many new prospective customers
were met and a special thanks to all of the current
customers that stopped by as well.

Company Announcements

Newsflash!
Some of you may have noticed that the
appearance of our standard forms -- i.e. invoices,
statements, quotations, etc. -- have changed. On May
1st, 2007, AIM formally converted to SAP Software. We
are very excited about this change and know this
conversion will ensure AIM’s ongoing quest for
excellence in all areas. Even though the “look” of the
forms have changed, the content is the same. If you have
specific questions regarding a form or its content,
please feel to contact us and we would be happy to
provide an explanation.
We feel confident that as the industry leader, AIM, Inc.
will continue to provide a superior product and second
to none service to meet the changing needs and demands
of our customers. Your continued success is our goal!

Chris
Sokacz got his first taste of what it was
going to be like in his new position as a
tech-service associate during a training he led
for some of the members of the AIM sales team.
Chris has experience working with all facets of
the machines AIM produces during his previous
stint as a bench-tech.
Now Chris is looking forward to using his strong
background to teach AIM customers about
SmartEditor programming and the AIM machine range
of capabilities. Chris will also be helping
customers on service calls and technical support.
In his spare time Chris also enjoys tinkering with
and displaying his custom Dodge Ram truck at
various shows in the area. |
