AIM CONTEST
 “Win A FREE iPOD!!”

Did You Know.....

Our 3D Double Headed Bender takes AIM’s existing know how to a higher level and provides a ruggedly built piece of equipment that can make larger 3D parts that could be made on our traditional 3D benders. Because it has two programmable bending heads and a center clamping device, this machine can make parts faster and with the consistency and quality you have come to expect from our machines. With tremendous flexibility and options, you can now quote those jobs that might have not been possible in the past.

Options include feeding wire from a coil and through a rotary straightener before it is cut to length, or loading pre-cut and straight pieces into a hopper. In both instances, the cut and straightened wire is then precisely transferred into the forming area. CNC programmable center turret is also available for bending multiple radii, as well as a center clamp for programming of complex parts automatically recalling positions within every program. This feature minimizes set up time between parts.

Please call AIM Sales at (630) 458-008 for equipment specifications and /or request your DVD showing the 3D Double Headed Bender in Action.

Trade Show Summary

Spring World/CASMI (Rosemont, Illinois) - AIM exhibited an AFM 3D8-T, 8mm turret head. AIM showcased an “off the shelf” stamping unit in line to place identification on selected parts. In the world of springs, there is a growing need for companies to expand their wire forming capabilities beyond traditional spring making as the industry and markets change. We have sold numerous machines to those companies that have recognized the advantage of including CNC wire forming capabilities to their arsenals. We were fortunate to have both existing customers and prospective customers stop by and share ideas and discuss ways to make their businesses more profitable.

AFM 3D8-T

Wire and Tube China (Shanghai, China) - AIM exhibited an AFM 3D8-T.
